Syrian refugees in Jordan may face deportation after more than 200 went on a rampage at the Za’atari camp. The refugees were protesting poor services and conditions.
Jordan has been innundated with refugees from Syria. Some 150,000 Syrians have fled the fighting back home, and Jordan’s infrastructure is stretched thin. Reporter Dale Gavlak reports from the border, where a new tent camp has opened up. Refugees say it’s inadequate and dangerous.
Kamal Labwani (left) is a prominent longtime activist who was recently released from a Syrian jail. Labwani escaped to Jordan a few days ago and is working to bring down the Assad government.
