That's one of the Afrikaner characters he plays in drag.

Pieter-Dirk Uys has brought his new one-man show to the United States, this month at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Mass. The show is called 'Elections and Erections---a chronicle of fear and fun'

The show will also be on at The Annex, at La Mama theater in New York City, May 7-9.

In it, Uys discusses sex and politics in South Africa and America. He doesn't shy away from racially-charged topics and jokes. Because he says laughter is the best antidote for fear. And Uys would have had reasons to fear. He has been controversial and has angered people in power most of his professional life.
