Israelis are buying guns after the Hamas attack on civilians

Since the Hamas attack of Oct. 7, which killed hundreds of Israeli civilians, there’s been a surge of people applying for gun licenses and purchasing weapons. The far-right national security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, has been a proponent of putting guns into more civilians’ hands, and his office is fast-tracking permits. But The World’s Matthew Bell reports that some believe massively arming people could be dangerous.
