Remote Scottish islands desperate for doctors

Would you relocate to a Scottish Island for the princely sum of $190,000 a year? Well, if you’re an MD and want to try something adventurous, Britain’s National Health Service is looking for five GP’s to serve the population of 5,700 on the islands of Uist and Benbekula in the Outer Hebrides. There are stunning landscapes and beautiful beaches, an outdoor paradise. The catch? You will make house calls and be on call some weeks 24/7.
