The push to get more Afghans to safety

It’s nearing three months since the US withdrawal from Afghanistan — and since the US airlifted out tens of thousands of people. About 46,000 evacuated Afghans are still at military bases in the US waiting for homes. But as The World’s Monica Campbell reports, thousands more are still in Afghanistan hoping to arrive in the US, including Afghans who helped US forces. A push is on to fast-track them to safety.
