How to help the trapped Chilean miners

It will be months before those 33 trapped miners in Chile see the light of day. NASA is advising the rescuers now and the European Space Agency can help, too. They’ve had six volunteers simulating an 18-month mission to Mars. Much like the miners in Chile, the volunteers are being monitored to see how they handle the isolation in cramped conditions. Terrorist suspect on Canadian Idol

Three suspected terrorists were arrested this week in Canada for allegedly plotting against targets in Canada and abroad. The suspects allegedly had plans and schematics to make improvised explosive devices. However, one of the suspects may have had aspirations other than bomb-making. For today’s Global Hit we’re going inside a pipe organ. The organ is at Alice Tully Hall, one of New York’s premier concert venues. Alice Tully Hall reopened last year after a long refurbishment.
