Burundi fears Somali violence

Burundi has been threatened by the Somali insurgent group al Shabab for sending peacekeeping troops to Somalia. Last month, al Shabab attacked Uganda, another country that contributes troops to Somalia. Correspondent Zack Baddorf reports from Burundi’s capital, Bujumbura.

Pulitzer prize-winning author Tracy Kidder (left) stopped by The World studios this morning for an interview with Anchor Jeb Sharp. Kidder talked about his new book, entitled Strength in What Remains. The book tells the story of Deo, a survivor of the decades long civil war that ripped apart the central African nation of Burundi.
