Laura Lynch is based in London where she began reporting for The World in 2008. Since then, the veteran journalist has filed stories from Iran, Pakistan, South Africa, Zambia and Ghana in addition to her stories from Britain and Ireland.
Lynch has reported national and international stories for close to twenty years with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and has served as occasional host for the popular CBC Radio series “As It Happens.”
Lynch was honored in 1999 with a Nieman Fellowship, granting her a year of study at Harvard University. She is also a lawyer, holding a law degree from the University of Victoria alongside her journalism degree from Carleton University in Ottawa.
