Senior Reporter

Patrick Cox has been reporter and editor with The World since 1998. He has reported and written series on:

• History of the Middle East
• The US – Mexico border
• Hiroshima’s survivors
• Global Obesity

Cox has reported for The World from more than 20 countries in five continents. Today, he hosts a weekly podcast on language, The World in Words.

Before joining The World, Cox reported for public radio stations in San Francisco, Portland, Oregon and Boston. His favorite job, though, was at Copenhagen University’s Philosophy Department where he cleaned the classrooms and bathrooms.
