In Chinese tradition, women who give birth are supposed to spend a month in confinement with their babies. It’s a tradition that many Chinese women still observe.

Now, as Ruth Morris reports, some entrepreneurs in Shanghai have come up with a confinement spa to make that month a little easier, at least for affluent new mothers.
